Still faith in Canadian food, despite BSE, avian flu

SASKATOON - According to a survey by the Canadian Egg Marketing Agency, it appears consumers in this country have unwavering faith in Canadian farmers, despite BSE and avian influenza. When BSE hit last year, the consumption of beef went up, not down as happened in other countries. When avian influenza hit egg-producing chickens in British Columbia, the consumption of eggs remained the same.
