Arla Appoints Unilver Boss as Executive Vice President

SWEDEN – Arla foods has unveiled ex-Unilver boss, Henri de Sauvage Nolting as its new Executive Vice President in Sweden.

The Dutchman will commence his new role before the first of December and is to be a member of Arla Foods’ Executive Management Group.

His responsibilities will include overseeing group Consumer Sweden and Consumer Finland.

After having lived in Stockholm for ten years, Mr Nolting speaks Swedish and boasts of a vast experience of the consumer industry following his time at Unilever Nordic.

Peter Tuborgh, Arla Foods CEO said: “With his broad experience and solid knowledge of the Nordic market for fast moving consumer goods, I’m confident that Henri will be able to continue our successful Swedish business and meet the future challenges and consumer demands in one of Arla’s most important markets.”

Mr Nolting said that he was excited about the great opportunity he had been given and looked forward to working in a farming cooperative.

“I am excited about this great opportunity to work for the most iconic consumer brand in Sweden and for a business with a strong development in Finland. I’m really looking forward to engaging myself in a farmer owned cooperative and the organisation behind it”, said Mr Nolting.
