All activities involving the movements of any cattle have been prohibited from February 1 to 28 when a large scale vaccination programme will take place.
Agricultural events that do not require relocation of livestock are unaffected.
From 1 March onwards, the animal health authorities will impose a 15 day vaccination period.
The vaccination service will be provided by the government.
