Daily Dairy Trading: All Change in Spot Markets With Butter Biggest Mover

US – Thursday saw all spot prices move in the CME dairy group as Butter closed down, the biggest mover on the day.

Butter spot calls finalised on $1.4950 after dropping 1.75 cents. Small gains were posted in Cheddar blocks ($1.6750) and Grade A Non-fat Dry Milk ($1.7450) both shifting 0.25 cents higher.

Cheese Barrels fell half a cent below Blocks after falling 1.50 cents. Both Cheese shipments are between 1 and 2 cents stronger than last week’s average price.

Class III July Milk closed down 3 cents on $17.38.

Class IV remained where it has been all week - $19.09.

July Cheese edged higher once more to $1.7110, carrying on incremental gains since last week.
