US beef exports to Canada rise in September - USMEF

Year-to-date volumes remain below 2024 pace

Beef exports to Canada rose in September, with volumes up 2% from a year earlier, according to a market report compiled by the US Meat Export Federation.

September shipments totalled 7,661 metric tonnes, while export value climbed 13% to $73.7 million, the federation reported.

For the January through September period, beef exports to Canada remained below last year’s levels. Export volume totalled 71,858 metric tonnes, down 7% year over year, while export value slipped 6% to $659.8 million.
