By: National Beef Packing Company, one of four major US beef processors, said it suspended production at its Liberal, Kansas, plant on Thursday after a fire, reported Reuters.
The company said it is working to assess damage from the fire that broke out in a loading dock area on Wednesday night and to prepare to restart production.
