EU slams China’s provisional dairy duties as unjustified
Beijing to levy 21.9%–42.7% tariffs from Dec. 23
China's announcement to impose provisional duties of 21.9% to 42.7% on certain dairy products imported from the EU starting on December 23 is "unjustified and unwarranted", Reuters reported, citing a spokesperson for the European Commission on Monday.
"The Commission's assessment is that the investigation is based on questionable allegations and insufficient evidence, and that the measures are therefore unjustified and unwarranted," spokesperson Olof Gill said on Monday.
