Centrale del Latte d'Italia Q1 revenue dips on Italy prices
EBITDA rises but net profit falls sharply
Centrale del Latte d'Italia reported a 1.2% year-on-year drop in first-quarter revenue, weighed down by lower selling prices in Italy, reported Reuters.
Even as milk product sales volumes rose and international revenues grew on higher large-scale retail and milk segment volumes, first-quarter revenue was stagnant.
First-quarter EBITDA rose 4% year-on-year, though EBIT and net profit fell sharply. The Italian dairy producer said economic uncertainties make it difficult to predict performance for the coming financial year.
