Brazil cattle prices rise on tight supply and strong exports - Cepea

Brazilian beef exports have remained at record levels since July, while domestic sales continued at a steady pace.
The price of beef carcass traded in the wholesale market of Greater São Paulo rose 5.15% from July 31 to August 29, reaching BRL 21.45/kg (USD 4.28/kg).
The CEPEA/ESALQ Index for fed cattle in São Paulo state closed at BRL 310.50 (USD 61.97) on August 29, up 5.49% from July 31.
