FDA puts Hoosier farm on mad cow-rule violation list

US - Griffey Farms was among a dozen firms found by the Food and Drug Administration to have most severely violated regulations meant to prevent the spread of mad cow disease, federal regulators say. The FDA inspected 14,037 businesses over the past five months and found 12 that warranted its most serious action, according to its online database.
