Nova Scotia provides $9-million for BSE

CANADA - The Nova Scotia government says it will provide $9-million to help farmers get through the mad cow crisis. The cash will also be used to help farmers hurt by depressed hog markets. Chris d'Entremont, the minister of Agriculture, says it's part of a strategy to help sustain the province's struggling farm industry.
