APHIS Surpasses Projected Goal for the Enhanced BSE Surveillance Program

WASHINGTON, DC – The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has tested 263,115 high risk cattle as of March 6 with no BSE positive cases found, as part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) enhanced surveillance program which began in June 2004.
