Chinese soft drinks company JDB is engaging with the Association of Small and Medium Dairy Enterprises, a group representing 180 companies, including 25 exporters and seven powder processors.

According to the ministry of agriculture, a meeting took place this week to strengthen trading relationships and further promote Argentinian dairy in China.

JDB is reported to have a presence in over forty countries, where it sources milk powders and serums.

Control over traceability was vital in securing trade with China in 2012, Argentina's government said.

Dairy undersecretary for the government, Arturo Videla (pictured), said: “We pay great support to small and medium enterprises to export and develop the market in China.”
