Argentina Reopens to Brazilian Beef
ARGENTINA – Argentina has withdrawn a ban on Brazilian beef in place since 2012, minister of agriculture Katia Abreu announced on Wednesday. The embargo was in response to an atypical bovine spongiform encephalopathy outbreak which was demonstrated to have “no relationship” to “mad cow disease”, the ministry said in a statement.
