First International Forum to Focus on Russia's Dairy Development
RUSSIA - Developing relationships between industry and authorities will be explored at the first international Agroindustrial Forum in Moscow next month.

The government of the Moscow region, led by Governor Andrei Vorobyov, has designed the forum to work towards a more 'investment-attractive' and efficient Russian dairy sector.
The Forum, which is to run on November 17 and 18 at the government house of the Moscow region in Krasnogorsk, will showcase examples of cooperative business combining private entities with authorities.
This will include discussion on operation efficiency improvement, introduction of useful innovations and choice of optimized mechanisms of financing.
Solutions to the dairy import restrictions will be proposed, with a strategy to be unveiled by the year end, as discussed by Vladimir Putin.
Regional Governor Andrei Vorobyov said that new challenges have been presented to the country which the agri-business sector must adapt to with creative solutions.
He added: "More than 7 million people live in the Moscow region today and our task is to provide all of them with qualitative and available products and increase the volumes of produced and processed milk.
"Right now is the favourable time for investments into this perspective industry, right now is the time for introduction of innovative, I would say – revolutionary techniques and technologies”.
