Serbia Seventh Country With Bluetongue
SERBIA – Vector borne virus Bluetongue disease has been confirmed in Romania, taking the total number of infected European countries to seven.The outbreak involves a sheep farm and a cattle farm in the south of the country, close to already infected Macedonia.
National laboratory testing revealed two cases in cattle and eight in sheep, according to World Organisation for Animal Health reports.
No animals have died.
