Global Dairy Values Continue Crumbling
GLOBAL – World dairy prices took another hit yesterday, falling six per cent on the global dairy trade.Milk powders, butter, cheddar and rennet casein all closed lower, continuing a string of losses over a seven month downward trend.
On 4 February this year the Global Dairy Trade Price index was at 1,482, slipping to 822 over the summer.
The average winning bid was $2,787.
