Colombian Efforts Mount Against TB, Brucellosis
COLOMBIA – Advances are being made in delivering a tuberculosis and brucellosis ‘free’ programme to a southern region of the country, says the Colombian Agricultural Institute. The project will eventually cover 7,000 head of cattle across over 11 municipalities in the Narino territory, largely on farms producing milk.
Preparation work began in February with serological brucellosis diagnosis and allergy testing for tuberculosis.
