Fresh Case of Foot-and-Mouth Disease Confirmed at Pig Farm
SOUTH KOREA - The government has confirmed the first case of foot-and-mouth disease in the country in over three years.

According to The Chosunilbo, local government officials say a pig at a farm in North Gyeongsang Province was confirmed to have the disease.
Hundreds of pigs at the farm will be culled on Thursday morning as a precautionary measure.
Local and central governments will also strengthen quarantines to prevent the spread of the disease.
