The Chinese Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) met with Dutch Dairy Association President Cees’ t Harton Wednesday to ‘further strengthen relations’ on dairy foods.

The meeting built on a talk in March when China’s President Xi Jinping called for a ‘growth in exports of Dutch dairy to China’.

Vice Minister of AQSIQ, Wu Qinghai, discussed cooperation being key to Sino-Dutch relations.

Focus at the meeting was placed on sharing knowledge on Chinese laws, regulations and food standards.
