Machinery Company Completes 3,000 Cow Dairy

Enlargement plans undertaken by DeLaval have concluded at a dairy unit in The Republic of Tatarstan, adding a 600 cow dairy unit and remodelling the holding’s calving facility.
The instalment completes four years of development which began with the construction of an 1800 cow dairy in 2010 at a unit lying around 600 miles east of Moscow, near the River Volga.
In 2013, farm managers opted to grow to 3,000 head and installed a specific DeLaval milking unit because of the requirements of the large herd.
High speed processing of cows and thoughtful ergonomics were the reasons why Damir Nurullin said the Cascade system was a suitable choice.
He added that group management stalls increase labour efficiency while reducing cow stress and the computerised technology offers automatic control from the milking pit.
"Over the past 10 years, DeLaval installed and launched more than 40 systems based on the milking Cascade,” said Mr Nurullin. “This project, which is the heart of this is the milking parlor, is an example of the output of the dairy business to a new level through the development of innovative technologies and the use of modern computer programmes."
