Russians Build 62 Beef Units in Altai Region
RUSSIA – The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has detailed its extensive three year beef production project carried out in the southern Altai region.

Altai, bordering Ukraine, borders Ukraine and now boasts an additional cattle capacity of over 20,000 head across 62 cattle production sites.
The largest site is a 1,000 head unit in Bijskogo district.
Investment programmes have also resulted in the construction of a 1,000 heard pig breeding unit.
The Rebrikinsky district has commissioned a 24,000 head pig farm for the village of Patches.
Further plans target a 12,000 pig complex for the village of Panov.
