Protein to be Targetted at More Glanbia Products
EUROPE – Irish dairy foods company Glanbia is to use more protein in mainstream foodstuffs as opposed to only sports nutrition products.

Glanbia Nutritionals, the ingredients division of Glanbia plc, will target protein usage in cereals, biscuits and beverages, levy board DairyCo has revealed.
In a statement DairyCo said: “European governments have passed legislation and created initiatives to help address the problem.”
“This is likely to have contributed to the creation of these opportunities for Glanbia as the food manufacturing industry looks to adapt to these changes.”
