Daily Dairy Trading: No Drop in Spot Values, Monday
US – Stronger dairy prices stayed in the spot market yesterday as Milk gained a cent to $18.85.Two trades lifted Butter 1.25 cents to $1.5450, the only spot price change. Cheddar and Nonfat Dry Milk finished unchanged.
Values have not fallen from the gains made last week which holds Butter nearly five cents above the prior week average. Cheddar Blocks is sat nearly two cents above the prior week average of $1.8835 at $1.9025.
Barrels reported a major gap over the prior week average of $1.8360, at $1.8700.
Class IV Milk finished on $20.49 and Cheese Closed on $1.8760. November Whey finished on $0.5650.
