UKRAINE – Milk produced in the Volyn region should be retailed at ‘special points of sale’, Deputy Agriculture Minister Alexander Sen has prescribed.

The announcement comes amid a dairy supply chain shake-up ignited by a government ‘buy local’ promotion.
Dubbed ‘village-city’, the scheme applies to all types of retailer, whether farmer or larger cooperatives across the districts of Lutsk, Vladimir-Volyn, Novovolynsk and Kovel.
