This is according to Swedish research that also learned smaller and more varied farms have more visitors.
The disease was conducted to learn about the spread of contagious animal diseases aside from livestock movements.
Data showed professional and non-professional visitors per day was 0.3 and 0.8 respectively.
Of those ‘often’ in direct contact with animals included, veterinarians, AI-technicians, animal transporters and neighbours. Repairmen were also in contact with livestock (8.8 per cent).
