Daily Dairy Trading: Butter and Cheese Close Lower, Monday

US – Butter and Cheddar values all fell yesterday despite no spot market dairy trades.

Butter lost a cent to $1.5200 with Cheddar Blocks down two cents to $1.8200 and Barrels down 2.25 cents at $1.7900.

No change was registered for Non-fat Dry Milk which stayed rooted to $1.8300 for Grade A and $1.7800 for Extra Grade.

In the futures markets, September Class III closed on £18.16 whereas October Class III milk moved lower to $17.80, down 39 cents. Class IV was over a dollar above on $19.49.

Cheese closed on $1.8000.
