Daily Dairy Trading: Butter Registers 25 Trades, Tuesday
US – A total of 25 trades forced butter 1.5 cents higher to $1.4100 on Tuesday as September futures butter also lifted a quarter cent to $1.4500.Cheddar Blocks moved 2.5 cents above Barrels with a 3.5 cent increase yesterday, closing at $1.7300. Barrels were unchanged on $1.7050.
Elsewhere in the spot trading, Non-dry Fat Milk sat unchanged on $1.8000 for Grade A and $1.7800 for Extra Grade.
September futures trading saw Class III milk close 8 cents higher to $17.67 while Class IV stayed on $19.35. Cheese lifted a cent to $1.7500 and Whey stayed rooted on $0.5750.
