Daily Dairy Trading: Week Opens With Cheddar Lift

US – Cheddar lifted yesterday as spot trading pushed Blocks up 2.5 cents to £1.6950 and Barrels up 6.25 cents to $1.7050.

The six cent lift puts Barrels over three cents higher than the previous week’s average - $1.6730.
All other spot commodities remained unchanged.

September Class III milk closed 31 cents higher to $17.59, registering 7 volumes.

Elsewhere in the September futures market, Class IV milk closed at $19.35, Cheese closed at $1.7400 and Whey at $0.5750.
