Daily Dairy Trading: NDM Bid Lifts Price to $1.7950

US – Restrained trading continued in the dairy spot market with the only change being a big for Non-fat Dry Milk Grade A, up 0.25 cents to $1.7950.

Grade A ($1.7950) and Extra Grade ($1.7500) standards have pegged higher than previous weeks. Prior week averages show a 1.60 cents disparity for Extra Grade.

Elsewhere, the spot prices have lost ground with Butter and both Cheddar prices all over a cent and a half down on prior week averages.

August futures have seen a lift in Class III milk, lifting milk values four cents to $18.11. Class IV closed unmoved on $19.15.

Cheese futures saw a small rise, closing on $1.7860.

Butter edged lower while Whey was unchanged on $0.5850.
