Daily Dairy Trading: Blocks Remains Above Barrels After Losing 2 Cents

US – Cheddar Blocks lost 2 cents on Thursday’s spot calls to finish the week fractionally ahead of latest Barrel trades.

Forty pound blocks closed down to $1.7625, with Barrels staying at $1.7600 after mid-week gains of over 7 dollars.

This leaves both commodities over 4 cents higher than the previous week’s average.

Butter finished the week on $1.4325 after trading $1.75 cents down.

Grade A standard Non-fat Dry Milk nudged higher to $1.7800 after spending the week rooted to $1.7750.

After Thursday’s small gain, July Class III milk returned to $17.35 – the value for the other days.

Class IV milk futures lost 11 cents through the week rounding off on $18.93.

August Class III milk closed down 15 cents to $17.88.

July Butter stayed close to the opening price of $1.4860.
