Daily Dairy Trading: June Class III Closes Down to $18.01

US – Thursday’s spot prices saw movement in Cheddar barrels, putting the week’s losses at 5 cents.

This follows several quiet days of trading and left barrel prices at $1.7225 after a 2.75 cents decrease.

Grade A NDM was an upwards mover, closing the day on $1.7250 after lifting 2.25 cents while Extra Grade sat unchanged on $1.7000.

Similarly, Butter was unchanged on $1.5075 and Cheddar blocks closed on $1.7250.

June Class III and IV futures both closed down three and four cents respectively. This left Class IV milk on $18.94, down 9 cents from Tuesday’s close.

Class III closed on $18.01.
