Daily Dairy Trading: Cheese Markets See Blocks Match Barrels at $1.7225

UK – Cheddar blocks fell again on Thursday, closing at $1.7225 per pound – to match Cheddar barrels which were unchanged at the close.

Losses amounted to one cent per pound which went against futures buying which saw some uplift leaving June Cheese on $1.772.

Non-fat dry milk Grade A gained half a cent, which leaves both standards of NDM on $1.7000.

Other movements were seen in June futures. Class III milk closed Thursday down 4 cents to $18.00 with Whey dropping $0.012.

Butter opened the day on $1.5700 and closed down one cent.
