Daily Dairy Cash Trading: Cheese Blocks Move Up Half a Cent
US – Forty pound blocks were the only movers at yesterday’s close, finishing up half a cent on $1.7525.This follows three trades and puts blocks above last week’s average of $1.7315.
Cheddar barrels closed Monday unchanged at $1.7525 up on last week’s average of $1.7250.
Both grades of Non-fat dry milk stayed put at $1.6925 for grade A with Extra grade finishing at $1.6925.
Butter has kept up ground gained last week closing at $1.5450.
Class III June futures are at $18.11 with Class IV ahead at $19.03. Cheese futures for Monday finished at $1.7750.
