COSTA RICA – Five thousand farmers in the state of Duran Sanatorio look likely to benefit from 100 million colones worth of funding as part of the Ministry’s sustainable milk production package.

The project is a policy idea from the Minister of Agriculture, Gloria Abraham and Deputy Minister, Xinia Chaves and sets out to secure the production of good quality milk.
By issuing producers with technical information on herd management and sustainable methods it is hoped that farming families can devise a way of farming to protect the resources for future generations.
