Wide expanses of land are bare including central areas of the continent.
Queensland, Western Australia, New South Wales are all suffering under drought conditions with farmer in the nroth of the country currently reviewing business structures.
Some years cattle routes across to Indonesia are like 'rivers of gold', but this year profits margins have set farmers with challenges.
