Second Round of FMD Vaccinations Scheduled for Next Month
PARAGUAY – Foot and mouth disease (FMD) vaccinations will enter a second cycle, to run from May 20 to June 28.

Farmers with cattle and buffaloes are being targeted with 14 million animals expected to be treated under through the period.
The National Service Quality and Animal Health has issued a reminder that vaccination must be stored between two and eight degrees celcius. Transportation conditions for the vaccine should be kept by using ice in cool boxes (three parts ice to one part vaccine).
Registration for entry onto the programme will close on 14 July.
