New Domestic Market Manager for Danish Crown

DENMARK - On Monday, 18 March, Uffe Frovst will take up his appointment as new domestic market manager in Danish Crown.

Mr Frovst is 47 years old and comes from a position as CPM with the supermarket chain Irma. He has 26 years of management experience within the retail trade, shop operations, purchasing and sales. Prior to his present position, Uffe Frovst was employed for a number of years with Dansk Supermarked in various managerial functions.

As new domestic market manager, Mr Frovst will look after and further develop Danish Crown’s position on the home market as well as on Greenland, the Faeroe Islands and Iceland for customers within the retail, food-service and meat processing sectors. In addition, he will be in charge of the terminals in Kolding and Ringsted and the retail packing facilities in Herning and Jönköping.

Mr Frovst holds an Executive MBA in Strategy as well as a BSc degree in Economics and in Commerce & Marketing.
