Occupying a prominent position at the entrance with a 12 sqm booth, BIOMIN was able to welcome many customers and potential partners to its stand. The technical sales team of BIOMIN, together with the technical personnel and support staff of BIOMIN’s distribution partner, Myanmar Frontline Ltd., were on-hand to discuss the complete product portfolio and answer any questions from the visitors. The BIOMIN booth remained constantly busy throughout the 2-day event, with close to 1,000 delegates in attendance.

On the opening day of ILDEX Myanmar 2012, BIOMIN’s Regional Sales and Marketing Director for the Asia Pacific Region, Dr Justin Tan, presented at the parallel technical conference on specific probiotic strategies for poultry. This proved to be a highly relevant subject for the audience, with delegates filling the conference room to capacity and extended time was needed for the significant number of questions that were asked to Dr Tan.

In the evening, a superb entertainment programme was hosted by BIOMIN at a resort facility close to the Expo. With the theme "Enjoy with BIOMIN", customers and business partners were entertained throughout the evening by a local popular band whilst enjoying great food and drinks. This created a superb opportunity for social interaction and discussion amongst the participants.

"This first ILDEX Expo in Myanmar has proven to be a very successful platform for the rapidly developing Myanmar livestock sector," explained Edward Manchester, Regional Director for BIOMIN and overseeing business development in Myanmar. "Bringing many customers and business partners together for such an event is really a great opportunity to strengthen our interaction from BIOMIN as well as Myanmar Frontline personnel. I look forward to continuing to support the development of the livestock business in Myanmar, with further exciting news on BIOMIN’s activities here to be announced shortly."
