Headed by Drs José María Blasco, Clara and Pilar Muñoz Marín, the programme aims to educate students in the techniques of direct and indirect diagnosis of animal brucellosis, microbiological and molecular Brucella vaccines and assessment of potentially useful in sheep, cattle and camels.

Students in Brazil (University of Sao Paulo), Belgium (University of Namur) and the CSIC-University of Navarra, complete their doctoral training here or post doctoral, thanks to the relations that the Animal Health Unit has with these institutions.

The training will take a week and is funded through a variety of initiatives.

For example, a Mongolian student is funded through a brucellosis control program that the Swiss Agency for International Development Cooperation (SDC) is currently running in Mongolia.

The students in Bosnia Herzegovina has been funded through a programme of FAO / IAEA Division of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture of the International Energy Agency Atómia (IAEA).
