New Residue Testing for Producers
US - With the recent announcement from the US Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) that it has created new testing analytic measures for meat, dairy and poultry, Dr Gary Neubauer, DVM, senior manager, Cattle Technical Services, Pfizer Animal Health looks at how this will affect dairy producers.As of 6 August 2012, FSIS announced new sampling and analytic procedures for meat, poultry and eggs. The new testing procedure helps ensure a continuous supply of the safest food possible to consumers.
