Winners Chosen at All-American Limousin Futurity

US - The All-American Limousin Futurity (AALF) was held July 13, 2012 in Des Moines, Iowa, in conjunction with the National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLS&C). Wes Hudson, Harrison, Ark., had the honors of sorting the 212 entries.

In the All-American Limousin Futurity female show, Hudson selected JCL Undying Love 013X as the grand champion female. She is a September 29, 2010, daughter of B C Lookout 7024. Linden Linthicum, Welch, Okla., exhibited this female. Reserve grand champion female honors went to EF Your Wish 334Y, exhibited by Etherton Farms, Dawson, Ill. She is a September 13, 2011 daughter of D A Traveler 004 703.

MAGS Totally Gorgeous was selected as the champion cow/calf pair. She is a November 27, 2007 daughter of MYTTY In Focus and her March 17, 2012 heifer calf at side is sired by MAGS Xyloid. Magness Land and Cattle, Platteville, Colo., exhibited this female. Reserve champion cow/calf honors were awarded to Ryan Hefner, Oklahoma City, Okla., showing MAGS Xerafin. This female is a March 10, 2010 daughter of MAGS Telegram and EF Xcessive Force is the sire of her February 3, 2012 bull calf at side.

Hudson selected AUTO Grand Am 156Y as the grand champion bull. He is a September 20, 2011 son of S A V Bismarck 5682 and was exhibited by Pinegar Limousin, Springfield, Mo. Magness Land and Cattle, Platteville, Colo., and Edwards Limousin Higginsville, Mo., exhibited the reserve grand champion bull with MAGS Y So Tangled. He is a September 15, 2011 son of MAGS Winston.
