OIE: Bluetongue Reported in Greece
RHODES, GREECE - An outbreak of bluetongue has been reported to the OIE by Mr Spiros Doudounakis, Director, Animal Health Directorate, Athens Greece.
Two outbreaks have been reported which have affected cattle, sheep and goats.
The outbreaks occurred at Notio Aigaio, Rhodes.
Of a total 121 cattle affected, there were two cases reported.
Affecting a defined zone within the country, the source of the outbreak is unknown. Control measures are being applied.
