Agriculture ministers plan for contingencies in advance of BSE court hearings

CANADA - As a series of impending U.S. court dates casts Canadian beef exports once more into question, provincial and federal agriculture ministers gathered Wednesday to devise worst-case scenario plans. "What we're looking for is consensus as to the thinking around what we would all do in the event of a negative reaction from the courts," Alberta Agriculture Minister Doug Horner said.
