Biomin Supports Traditional Breed Show

CZECH REPUBLIC - Traditional breeding event, Kralovice 2011, took place in the well-known exhibition area, Hadacka on 30 June.

The fair is organised by the following companies: Kralovická zemedelská a.s., CRV Czech Republic, spol. s r.o., Jihoceský chovatel a.s. and Sdruzení chovatelu hospodárskyých zvírat v západních Cechách (the Association of Livestock Breeders in West Bohemia) and their partners. Besides field trials and agrarian technology exhibition, a competitive show of cattle and other livestock was the main part of the fair.

It is the biggest fair organised in the Pilsen Region, where a huge number of feed companies, feedstuff and feed-additive producers, agrochemistry, agrarian technology and veterinary products selling companies present themselves. Furthermore, a many breeders from that regions and further afield in the Czech Republic come there every year. Visitors could not only watch the competitive show of cattle and other livestock and assessing of Fleckvieh and Holstein cows but also shows of some horse, sheep and pig breeds.

Biomin Czech s.r.o. was one of the major fair partners. It awarded the best Fleckvieh animals in the category of first lactation cows and older cows. The company's sales managers, Dr Vladimír Kron and Dr Dana Pavelková, handed over gift baskets and cheques for Biomin products. The prizes were given to the champions – Cow 245497-932 (father: Roibos; owner: ZDV Stichovice) and 'Dairy Cow with the Best Udder' to cow 293197-931 (father: Varus; owner: Agraspol Predmír, a.s.).

Biomin Czech s.r.o. staff also presented to visitors the Biomin product portfolio and the consultancy offered by Biomin Czech s.r.o.
