The key results for September 2010 are given below:
- The intake of raw whole milk was 776 million litres, 2.1 per cent higher than in September 2009
- 330 million litres of whole milk and 112 million litres of skim milk were used for liquid milk
- 164 million litres of whole milk and 23 million litres of skim milk were used for cheese production
