Electronic Storage for Angus Certificates

US - American Angus Association® members can conduct business more efficiently and decrease the added stress that the traditional paper trail often causes by storing their registration certificates electronically. And, storing papers electronically doesn’t cost the member anything extra.

“With more and more of our members turning to AAA Login and AIMS to submit their work, it makes perfect sense to store registration certificates electronically,” says Don Laughlin, Association director of member services. “There is no waiting time to receive that paper in the mail or fear of losing it and having to pay and request a duplicate.”

Another advantage to electronically stored registrations, is that they can also be electronically transferred, expediting the process, which is often times important especially for juniors who must meet an ownership deadline.

As more members turn to technology to conduct business, electronic storage makes sense. In Fiscal Year 2008, nearly 69 percent of registrations were submitted electronically, a trend that continues to increase as more and more producers turn to the internet and AAA Login.

Although members that show still are required to have an original registration certificate, there is no fee to request to take a particular certificate out of electronic storage. Just allow plenty of time prior to the show.
