Canadian Beef Industry Stronger in Wake of BSE
CANADA - A stronger Canadian dollar and new and expanded packing plants have provided the Canadian beef industry with an unexpected result: strength rather than weakness in the wake of the nation's BSE crisis. In May 2003, Canadian officials acknowledged that the first Canadian-born BSE- infected cow had been found in the province of Alberta.Source: Wisconsin Ag Connection
