Complementing the product display is the traditional Top Cattle Genetic (TopTierTreff), a live show of cattle from the world’s top breeders with presentations in German, Russian and English. Sheep and goat breeding stock are also presented on the last two days.

At the Top Cattle Genetic event international firms will be displaying the best genetic lines on the market today. This unique array of European genetics, backed by first-hand information from the breeders on the individual animals and their breeds, will be presented in German from 9.15 a.m. every day at regular intervals until 5 p.m. in Hall 27.

TopTierTreff features the traditional rotating platform with live commentary from the relevant breeding organisations. An accompanying video projection supplies further information including details of the appropriate exhibition stands in Hall 27 where further information is available and individual discussions are encouraged. Amongst the breeds presented are Holstein, German Angler, Brown Swiss, Simmental as well as a number of beef cattle breeds such as Aberdeen Angus, Blonde d’Aquitaine, Charolais, Galloway, Herford, Limousin and Welsh Black.

“Demonstrating the breeding behind the very best of genetics in cattle production is a tradition at EuroTier,” says Markus Schneider, Top Cattle Genetic Project Manager. “Our event continues to expand and offer a unique meeting point where it is possible to see and compare the latest developments as well as discuss with world experts,”

International presentations in Russian and English
