"We are extremely pleased to again have the opportunity to serve the Korean market after an extended absence," said American Meat Institute (AMI) President J. Patrick Boyle. "The facts clearly demonstrate U.S. beef safety. We are gratified that now consumers in Korea will again have access to our products."

Companies that are eligible to export to South Korea may begin slaughter after 5 a.m. on July 10. The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) posted a list of eligible companies and the QSA requirements yesterday. The Food Safety Inspection Service posted the Korean export requirements on export library website.
